Hombre Maquina - Performance and Artworks

Hombre Maquina - Performance and Artworks

Hombre Máquina was born from a spontaneous collaboration between Ed Vasquez and Francisco Sanchez. It began as an improvised performance, emerging from a moment of pure inspiration.

The paintings that followed were a direct result of that creative spark.
Later on, PH Daniel Sanchez joined the team and contributed to expanding on that foundation.
What defines Hombre Máquina is that each of the artists brings a unique form of art: performance, traditional, and digital. The fusion of these diverse talents is what you will experience.

Statement:
Welcome to "Hombre Maquina" a mesmerizing performance art show that explores the dynamic concept of the "Blue Water Dragon and Machine-Man" in the context of industrialization, technology, mindfulness, and the transformative power of emotions.
The Blue Water Dragon symbolizes the fluidity and adaptability of human existence, while the Machine-Man represents the impact of industrialization and consumerism on our lives. The performance unfolds as a mesmerizing visual narrative, weaving together the contrasting elements of machinery, humanity and artificiality. The artists skillfully utilize paint, choreography and music to immerse you in a multi-sensory experience that resonates with mindfulness and the concept of "flow"—the state of being fully present and engaged in the moment.
As the performance unfolds, you will witness the evolution of human emotions and the intricate interplay between industrialization, technology, and our inner selves. The artists explore how these external forces shape our emotional landscapes, from the chaotic and dissonant to the harmonious and serene.
The audience is invited to reflect on the transformative power of emotions and the potential for growth and self-realization in an ever-evolving world. Through the evocative movements of the performers, the dynamic interplay of light and shadows, and the evocative soundscapes, the performance prompts introspection and invites viewers to consider their own emotional evolution in relation to the external forces that surround them.
